Born February 27, 1930, in Lawrence County, he was the son of John H. and Minnie Ethel (Pipher) Ball. He married Mary Lutina "Teeny" Andrews.
Kenneth retired from Lehigh Cement Company in 1987. He was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church. Kenneth was a U. S Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and Heltonville Area Veterans.
Survivors include his children: Rita Jean (Mike) Ramey of Bloomington, Kathy Rose (Joe) Vogler of Bedford, Jeffery Wesley Ball of Williams; grandchildren, Chad (Angie) Ramey, Carrie Vallad, Joshua Ball, April Ball; 8 great-grandchildren, siblings, Charles Henry Ball of Mitchell, James Walter Ball of Smithville, Ronald Ball of Lebanon, Mildred Lavere Henderson of Mitchell
His parents; wife; and siblings, John Earnest Ball, Leon Ball, Lavonne Callahan, and Mary Louise Williams, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
