--Mrs. Julia A. Shannon, widow of the late Capt. S.P. Shannon, died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at her home, 405 North Prairie street. She came here from Ohio with her husband in 1858 and had resided here ever since. Tho deceased leaves four children, Mrs. A. G. Creed, Mrs. Dr. Nicolay, of Minier, Mrs. George Terry and Mrs. Thomas Prlce, of St. Paul. The funeral arrangements will be made when the children are heard from.
