Hubert Dale Adams, 82, of Vincennes, IN, passed away January 27, 2019, at Gentle Care Nursing Home.
He began his working career at the Brown Shoe Factory, before working at Pomeroy’s. From there he went to T.A. Brouillette & Son, and then Mid-West Tank Works. After retiring he worked part-time at Mississippi Tank Works. He spent most of his years working as a welder.
On October 7, 1955, he married Janice Yochum. She preceded him on April 19, 2012. Surviving are his children, Debbie Phegley of Monroe City, IN, Sandra Potter and her husband, Gary, of Vincennes, IN, David Adams and Cena Smith of Vincennes, IN, Ron Adams and his wife, Tina, of Vincennes, IN, and Cathy Williams of Vincennes, IN; his sister, Doris Snare and her husband, Mike, of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Chad Phegley, Derek Potter and his wife, Kaleigh, Haley Potter and her fiancé, Tyler Ellerman, Keith Adams, Courtney Sears and her husband, Jack, Melissa Adams, Samantha Adams, Dallas Williams and his fiancé, Katie Lowe, and Austin Williams; and his great-grandchildren, Meeya Sears and Maycee Sears.
Born on March 21, 1936, in Monroe City, IN, he was the son of Buell and Grace (Goodwin) Adams. His parents and a son, Jim Adams, preceded him.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 7:00 on Tuesday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, at 11:00. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
