Ross Edward Adams, 75, of Stow, Ohio, was called to his heavenly home on January 23, 2019. He was born November 4, 1943, in Akron, Ohio to Donald Ross Adams and Mary Eloise Adams (Noffsinger). He was a 1961 graduate of Akron Buchtel High School.
On September 21, 1968, Ross was wedded to the love of his life, Twila Grace Adams (Wing). They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Ross served in the Navy from 1965 to '67, stationed at Barbers Point Naval Air Station in Oahu. He worked 35 years as a machinist at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Ross enjoyed sailing, riflery, bicycling and volleyball. Over the past three years, he frequently honored veterans at parades and other military functions in his own restored Navy truck.
A faithful lifelong member of Hope Baptist Church (formerly Brown Street Baptist), Ross was a man of God who was a skillful teacher, an artful storyteller and a wise counselor. Most of all, he treasured his family and many friendships.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
