Kenneth R. Dean passed away on January 24, 2019 at 80 year old. Kenneth is the beloved husband of Maryann (nee McNicholas). He is the loving father of Kenneth (Liz) Dean, Patrick (Sandy) Dean, Maryann (Billy) Polanco, Ryan (Amie) Dean. Kenneth was the cherished Papa of Nicholas, Ginger, Kenny, Lauren, Catherine, Noelle, Maryann, and the late Baby Billy. He was the dear brother of Jimmy (Fran) Dean, and the late Barbara Barry.

Kenneth served in the United States Marine Corps for two years, and was a dedicated Police Officer with the NYPD for 38 years. Kenneth is retired from the NYPD for 20 years on February 2, 2019.

Visitation will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Monday January 28, 2019 2:00 - 5:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 9:30 AM. The Committal Service will be immediately following at Green-Wood Cemetery.
