Dora "Janie" Cunningham Parker, age 71, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Mrs Dora "Janie" Parker was of the Christian faith. She was a lifelong homemaker and dedicated Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by: Three Daughters- Connie Noel & husband, Larry, Cadiz, KY; Mary White & husband, Jeff, Cadiz, KY; Lisa Lindsey, Cadiz, KY; Three Sons- James Parker, Cadiz, KY; Charles Parker, Central City, KY; Shane Parker, Cadiz, KY; Fourteen Grandchildren- Steven White, Lydia Michelle White, Ashley Brokering, Michael Lindsey, Kayla Lindsey, Brandon Lindsey, Tyler Noel, Jimmy Dean Parker, Christian Harris, Mason Kyle Parker, June Shanks, Candice Gray, Amanda Litten, Matthew Parker; Ten Great Grandchildren; One Sister - Lillie Mae Parker & husband, Doug, Cadiz, KY.
She was preceded in death by: Parents - Sammie Lee Cunningham & Mary Frances Faughn Cunningham; Husband - James Frank Parker; Two Brothers- Douglas "Red" Cunningham & Morris Cunningham; Three Sisters- Patricia Louise Heflin, Gertrude McGough & Doris Kaye Birdsong.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, May 2, 2016. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 with the Reverend Norman Cotton & Mike Heflin officiating.
Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY.
