Mrs. Lillie Bell Kelly Carr, 89, met her Master on early Saturday morning, January 26, 2019 from complications of a recent fall. "Miss" Lillie was blessed with a long life of good health and happiness. Born on May 1, l929 in Lee County to the late Lunsford L. Kelly and Annie Belle Ward Kelly, she grew up in the Chesterville area where she lived her entire life. "Miss" Lillie attended Belden Schools and married C. M. "Chunk" Carr. They operated a country store in the Chesterville Community for many years. "Miss" Lillie was an independent, kind hearted and elegant lady and an encourager to her family and many friends. She was a longtime faithful member of the Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church.

A service honoring her life will be held at 2 PM Today (Sunday) at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Wes Stephens and Bro. Jim Varnon officiating. Private burial will follow in the Carr Section of the Old Chesterville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon-service time today at Holland-Tupelo Chapel, which is honored to be serving their friends.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including her primary caregivers, Susan Baughman, Donnie Kelly, and Lillyan Nguyen, all of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Randy McDaniel, her sister Ann Crane, and brothers Claude Lee "Sonny" Kelly, and Gene Kelly.

Pallbearers will be Jerel Baughman, Randy Towery, Dan Crane, Jeremy Kelly, Casey Kelly, and Bryce McLellen.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Chesterville Cemetery Fund, 2504 Sims Gin Road, Tupelo, MS 38801. Condolences to the family may be posted at hollandfuneraldirectors.com. Services may be viewed at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/livestream at 2 PM today and for 60 days following.
