Judy C. Graves, of Charleston, formerly of Boomer, passed away on January 23, 2019.

Judy was born on June 14, 1942, at Boomer, the daughter of the late William A. Graves and Wilma Pauline (Marks) Graves. She is a former employee of C&P Telephone Company and Verizon, having retired with 35 years of service, and is also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers and Dallas Cowboys fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Graves, and one sister, Sandra S. Winebrenner.

She is survived by two sisters, Patricia A. Craffey of Boomer and Cynthia L. Craffey (John) of Falls View. Also surviving are three nephews, William Graves Jr. (Alice), Joseph W. Craffey (Christy) and Stephen M. Craffey and finance Jessie Lewis, and two nieces, Erin E. Craffey and Tara M. Ruth (Aaron) of Richmond, Va. She is also survived by two great-nieces, Jaicee Craffey and Afton Ruth, and four great-nephews, Druw Bowen, Gavin Craffey, Carter Craffey Barron, and Brooks Ruth. Also surviving are dear friend, Janet Ware, and beloved dog, Casey.

At her request, her body was donated to the West Virginia University Human Gift Registry.
