Stephanie Victoria “Vicki” Adkins, 72, of Charles City, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Stephanie Jones. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Arnold; three sons, Jason (Victoria), Adam (Lisa), and Aaron (Kristina); three granddaughters, Alex (Josh), Olivia and Riley; one great granddaughter, Sage; one sister, Valerie Jefferson and one foster grandson, “Little Ronnie”.
Vicki is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Vicki was blessed to have devoted caregivers, Janice Nelson, Wilma Loving, Chelsea Adkins, Ashton Montez, Nora Adkins and the caregivers from the Right-At-Home agency.
Vicki was a member of the Chickahominy Tribe and a member and deacon of Samaria Baptist Church for many years.
A funeral service will be held 2 PM Tuesday January 29th, at Samaria Baptist Church, 8130 Lott Cary Rd, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A visitation will take place from 5 Pm to 7 PM, Monday January 28th, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Samaria Baptist Church, 8130 Lott Cary Rd, Providence Forge, VA 23140 or the Chickahominy Tribe Elders Fund, 8200 Lott Cary Rd. Providence Forge, VA 23140.
