Born and raised in Winter Garden, FL, Mr. Spivey was predeceased by his wife Betty Neal Spivey (October 9, 2015.) She will now be interred with her husband of 54 years.
Mr. Spivey joined the U.S. Department of Labor in Jacksonville, FL in 1964 where he oversaw the rehabilitation of countless injured federal government workers. Spivey retired in 1994 and returned to his beloved Central Florida along with his wife, a retired Jacksonville, FL public school teacher.
Robert Paul Spivey, Sr. is survived by his sons Robert Paul Spivey, Jr. and John Neal Spivey both of Orlando. Other survivors include Daughter In Law Jaime Washo Spivey, and grandchildren Matthew Paul Spivey, Daniel Robert Spivey, Natalie Brooke Spivey, and Evan Williams, all of Orlando.
