Sidney Williams Kennedy, Sr. 81 died Sunday May 27, 2007. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Reynolds Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Kennedy was a native and resident of Sparta. He was a retired Carpenter Foreman. He was preceded in death by his parents James B. and Elizabeth Williams Kennedy. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War earning three Bronze Service Stars.
Survivors include his wife Patricia M. Kennedy of Sparta, two sons; Sidney Kennedy, Jr. (Gwen) of Eatonton, and Allen Kennedy (Verna) of Sparta, a brother Gerald "Redtop" Kennedy of Sparta and four grandchildren.
