Mrs. Carrie Mae Austin, 84, of Crossett, AR, died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at her home. She was a native of Mer Rouge, LA, a resident of Crossett for the past 60 years, and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Austin; one daughter, Tina Denise Austin-Johnson; two sons, Jessie James Austin and Roy Lee Grayson; her parents, Izea German, Sr. and Estelle Worley; three brother, James German, Izea German, Jr., and Floyd Worley; and two sisters, Dorothy Mayberry and Flora Williams. Carrie loved her family, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed cooking and listening to Gospel music.

She is survived by four sons, Eddie Austin(Copreshia), of Crossett, AR, Larry Austin(Shannon), of Kansas City, MO, Fredrick Austin(Deloise), of Little Rock, AR, and Ronald Austin, of Las Vegas, NV; three daughters, Linda Okoll, of Arlington, TX, Wanda Williams, of Crossett, AR, and Trina Austin, of Arkadelphia, AR; one brother, Eddie Worley, of Buffalo, NY; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Saturday, February 2, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Allen and Pastor Jesse Radford officiating. Active Pallbearers are Richard Williams, Ronnie Rogers, Tony Allen, Cornell Harper, Archie Jones, and Lazarus Adams. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
