Death, the grim reaper, cast another shadow over the community, when he removed Mrs. Warren J. Jones, the wife of our townsman. Mrs. Jones passed away at her home in Basin, Wyoming, Friday, April 19, 1912, after an illness of four weeks from the effects of burns received from a gas stove on March 22, 1912.
The remains were brought here for burial. The funeral services were held from the residence of Mrs. Joseph Jones and the body laid to rest in the Utica cemetery on Tuesday, April 23, 1912, in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives.
