Dorothy was born on July 14, 1932, in Rochester, NY, to Ernest N. and Gladys A. (Russell) Shaw. She was very family centered, and loved to be with her family. She also loved the Lord. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and being with her cats.
She is survived by her children, Valerie J. Tate of Galion, Laura A. Flegal of Chattanooga, TN, Raymond J. Harmon of Gainsville, FL, and Jonathan D. Harmon, Denise F. Baldridge, and Michelle R. Harmon all of Mansfield; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty R. Stoneburner of Coleman, MI and Patricia A. Shaw of Cottonwood, AZ.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond W. Harmon; children, Sherri L. Cook and Terri L. Layland; grandfather, Charles A. Russell and grandmother, Bertha D. (Rowland) Russell.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
