Daughter of Barney and Martha Wilson. Barney's memorial (see link) says he died in 1932, but death certificate says 1933. She was raised by her grandfather, Dave Wilson (Memorial No. 55168954) and his second wife, Pearl. The following is from Ida's obituary, via Davenport Funeral Home in Walhalla, SC. (Information pertaining to living descendants has been omitted.)

Walhalla, SC—Ida Mae Wilson Alexander Edwards, 77, of 409 Pawnee Drive, Walhalla, SC, wife of Billy Edwards, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at her residence.

A native of Salem, SC, Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of the late Barney and Martha Wilson and raised by her grandparents, Dave and Pearl Wilson. She was a retired caregiver for Lakeview Nursing Home and member of Bible Methodist Church...

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edwards was predeceased by her infant twin daughters, Annis and Jannis; and her son, Jerry Alexander.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011, from the Chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, Walhalla, with burial to follow in Alexander Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the funeral home.
