VICTOR'S OBITUARY
Victor Brown, 76, went to his heavenly home Sunday, January 6th surrounded by friends and family in Denison, Texas.
Mr. Brown was born January 18, 1942 in Colbert, Oklahoma the son of Victor Roland Brown and Frances Proffitt Brown. He joined the U.S. Marines, and while proudly serving his country became a Purple Heart recipient. He married the love of his life Janet Raper. He loved his country. He loved to hunt, was excellent with carpentry, and could build anything. Victor was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His legacy will continue to live in the hearts of people he loved. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Victor leaves behind his beloved family, wife of 48 years Janet Brown of Denison, TX; son Jason Brown of Denison, TX; daughter Misti Brown Thomas of Plano, TX; grandsons Shelby Holderfield and Corbin Brown of Denison, TX; sister Cathy Stevens of Denison, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Brown, and sister Peggy Brown.
Victor was cremated according to his wishes. A celebration of his life with Full Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19th at Fisher Chapel with Pastor Lafe Angel officiating. Family and friends will gather to visit one hour prior to service time at the chapel.
