A graduate of North Coventry High School, Amy had been employed as a clerk in local banks and for the Owen J. Roberts School District. She had been a member of Parkerford Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she had served for decades as President of the Women's Rainbow Circle, a Deaconess, and a Sunday School teacher. She and Joe traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. She loved her home, her cats and dogs, and time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: N. Lance, husband of Joyce Parson, of Pottstown, Robin L., wife of Robert Schlichter, of Pottstown, and Ty L., husband of Loretta Parson, of Elverson and; step-children: Ronald, husband of Barbara Moore, of Parker Ford, Richard, husband of Susan Moore, of Ventura, CA, Robert, husband of Pavlina Moore, of St. John, FL, Cheryl, wife of Wayne Yeager of Honesdale, and Cynthia Baker, of Charlestown; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and her sister: Arline Peck, of Parker Ford. She was preceded in death by her first husband: William C. Parson, in 1983.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Parkerford Baptist Church, 92 Baptist Church Road, Spring City, on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Robert E. Davalt, II and Rev. Robert S. Coats. Interment will follow in the Parkerford Baptist Church Cemetery.
