Earl West, age 89 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019. Born in Cannon County to the late William and Timia Bogle West, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy West, and a sister, Robbie Rogers.
Mr. West is survived by his children, Carol Goedde, Donna (Dave) Simpson, Steve (Winnie) West, Michael West, and Roger (Karol) West, all of Murfreesboro; granddaughters, Callie (Kendall) Barrett of Murfreesboro, Megan (Matt) Pemberton of Murfreesboro, and Kristin (Eric) Davis of Wartrace; great-grandchildren, Connor and Collin Barrett, Isaac and Aaron Davis, and Serenity Grace Pemberton; sister, Georgie McMillen; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. West was the owner of the Hobble House Restaurant on Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro, but was best known for his woodworking skills and refinishing antiques.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 27th, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mark Lewis, Dave Simpson, Kendall Barrett, Eric Davis, Connor Barrett, and Matt Pemberton will serve as pallbearers. Prince Albert, Tippy Albert, Richie Brown, and Lowell Womack will serve as honorary pallbearers.
