Michael George Meeker, Sr. passed away suddenly on May 25, 2015. He was 49 years young. Born March 4, 1966 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michael was the son of Carole and Charles Snyder. Michael graduated from West Cherry Hill High School in 1984, and found his vocation love in the plumbing industry where he eventually became a licensed Master Plumber in New Jersey. He traveled to Tennessee and Florida, and found a love for Nashville, Tennessee. Michael also studied Psychology at David Lipscomb College.

In December of 2008, Michael met and fell in love with Gina Garner. They married June 5, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. Together Michael and Gina loved to cook, garden, raise their two cocktails Pete and Headwig, travel, go fishing, play disc golf, sing in the church choir and are members of the altar guild at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Most importantly, they cherished each other’s company, friendship and unconditional love.

Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Marquart. He was the beloved husband of Gina Garner-Meeker; father to Samantha, Michael Jr, Holli and Nicholas Meeker of Collingswood , New Jersey; step father of Lisa Beene and husband Tyler of Knoxville, Tennessee; God father of Chris Gahan and wife Rachel of Phoenix, Arizona; grandfather to Jordan Meeker of Malaga, New Jersey, Matthew Meeker of Westmont, New Jersey and Maeson Meeker of Gibbstown, New Jersey; son of Carole and Charles Snyder of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; brother of Edward Meeker of Charlotte, North Carolina , Monica Meeker of Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Susan TseChida and husband Scott of Ocala, Florida; son-in-law of Nancy Garner of Cary, North Carolina; brother-in-law of Karin Nielson and husband Steve of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina; Uncle of David Spencer of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Cody Spencer of Ocala, Florida and Andrew Nielson of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. He also had many cherished friends.
