Charles R. Rodriguez Jr. was born June 15, 1954 to parents Charles R. Rodriguez and Mary Madge Harrison in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rebecca Ann Rodriguez-Burris. He is survived by his beloved husband and partner of 32 years Todd Hausman of East Point, GA, his sister Cheryl (Glenn) Mocek in Texas, his brother Jim (Tammy) Rodriguez in Texas, his nephews Nolan Burris in Oklahoma and Layne (Melissa) Wyatt in Texas, his niece Jennifer (Kyle) Rushing in TX and great nieces and nephews.
He attended Sul Ross University and received his B.A. in Fine Arts from University of Houston. He worked 25 years for Houston Post newspaper, Foleys, Macys, and SP Richards in roles of Graphic Artist and Image Coordinator. He moved to Atlanta in 2005 and retired in 2017. He loved his precious time in his beautiful home with husband, Todd, cooking, enjoying holidays, and spending time in the neighborhood sitting on the porch with dear friends & neighbors was always the best part of his days. He enjoyed his membership at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, trips to the Biltmore Estate, visit to New Orleans for his 60th birthday, supervising family affairs, and attending numerous festivals – Dogwood Festival, Cheese Festivals, and of course 4th of July Festival with his all time favorite rooftop vantage point at East Point Tower.
