Miss Glenda Gail McCord, age 68, of Lindale, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at a local hospital.
Miss McCord was born in Rome, Georgia on March 20, 1950, daughter of the late Jesse Connor “J. C.” McCord and the late Ruby Beatrice Bowman Waits. She was a member of the Liberty View Baptist Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Larry McCord (Katrina), Silver Creek, Jimmy Wayne McCord, Rome, and J. C. McCord, Jr., Lindale; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Stansell officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday from 1pm until 1:45pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday at 1:30pm and include: Tim McCord, Jason McCord, Ethan Todd, Kenneth McCord and Dell Owens.
