Sue was born Dec. 2, 1938 in Lambert, MS, and went home to Jesus on Jan. 21, 2019, at the age of 80.

Sue was a woman of many talents. She graduated from Northwest Cosmetology School and operated "Magic Mood" beauty shop, lovingly built by N.H. Sutton. Sue was an excellent homemaker and a devoted mother to her daughter, Pam. Later in her career, Sue provided meticulous Quality Control at Barth Manufacturing.

Sue's talents also extended to cooking. She made some of the best cornbread around, and her chicken-n-dressing was a favorite of her granddaughter. Sue could often be found cooking with an Ole Miss football game on the TV, cheering on her team.

Sue dearly loved her two grandchildren and never missed a chance to dote on them. Likewise, Sue cherished her nieces and nephews, memorizing all of their 20+ birthdays.

Sue was a member of Crowder Baptist Church, studying under the leadership of Bro. Larry Kilgore.

Sue is survived by her daughter Pam (Kevin) Mask, grandchildren Kyle (Stacy) Mask and Casey Mask, sister Shirley Vowell, sister-in-law Joan Bailey, dear nieces and nephews, and special family friend Lynn Bell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Earl and Maggie (Muirhead) Bailey, and siblings Louise, Earline, Harold Wayne, James, and Perry.

The family would like to thank all who served as Sue's caregivers during her illness, including her doctors, nurses, and aides.

Visitation will be at Crowder Baptist Church on Friday, Jan. 25, at 1:00 p.m., with services to follow at 2:00. Bro. Truman Scarborough officiating. Arrangements by Wells Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crowder Baptist Church, P.O. Box 156, Crowder, MS 38622 or St Jude Children's Hospital.
