Mr. Michael Allen Boyer, 49, of Berryville, VA. died Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home after bravely fighting an illness for over eight years.
Born in Lockbourne Air Force Base, Ohio he was the son of the late Terry Boyer and Frieda Bohm Boyer. He was also preceded in death by a brother Robert Boyer.
He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Korean Linguist from 1988-1995. He later became a dedicated teacher and taught the students he loved both in Newport News Public Schools and at Floris Elementary School in Fairfax County, VA.
He married his dream girl, Saundra on Nov. 10, 2006 in Newport News, VA. who survives him at home.
