Edgar (Whitey) Larimore, 72, of Englewood, Florida, departed this life on October 19, 1989.
Born February 6, 1917, In Delphi, he was the son cf the late Charles and Irene Larimore.
He moved to Englewood 12 years ago from Fenton, Michigan, where he was a teacher and football coach for 33 years. A graduate from Cooley High School in Detroit, and a 1942 graduate of Wayne State University in Michigan, he was a member of the Gas House Gang, Michigan Sports Sages, B.P.O., Elks Lodge 2378 and Myakka Pines Golf Club.
Surviving are his wife Julia; a daughter Jane Bodnar of Shaker Heights, Ohio; two stepsons. Gene Brown of Hint, Michigan and Kelly Brown of Melbourne, Florida; eight sisters, Barbara Nelson, Betty Maxwell, Evelyn Pritchard, and Edith Isaacs af Delphi; Beatrice Isaacs of Logansport, Joann VanNatta of Monticello and Deloris Eberle and Ruth Boyar of Englewood, Florida; one brother, Robert Larimore of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services were held on Monday, October 23. 1989 in Englewood.
