Dennis L. Edmondson, 49, Bristol Tennessee, died Saturday, March 28, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Harrisonburg, Va., and had lived in New Market, Va., before moving to the Bristol area in 1966. He was a former member of the Bristol Tennessee Police Department and the Sullivan County Sheriffs Department, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the DAV, FOP and Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Reba Alford Edmondson; one daughter, Nickie Edmondson; one sister, Debra Thompson, Bluff City; and several nieces and nephews. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.
