Loretta Marie (Kelley) Parker was born on April 7, 1938 in Brant, Saginaw County, Michigan, the daughter of George Henry Kelley (1906–1994) and Ruby Evelyn (Shuler) Kelley (1907–1994).
She married in 1958 to her high school sweetheart Lyman Ray Parker, and they lived in Flint, Michigan for many years before moving to Tennessee in 1985.
She kept active all her life and was always up for anything and even went go-carting and kayaking in her later years. She loved all sports but the Titans and the Predators were her favorites. A life-long member of the Church of Christ, she attended that church in Donelson.
Loretta was 80 years old when she passed away on January 19, 2019 after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Robert Dean Kelley, while survivors included her husband, two daughters and a son-in-law, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Services were held at Donelson Church of Christ, and burial was in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
