He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was a member of New Haven Fellowship Church of God. He was previously employed with Freightliner Trucking for many years and then became the Owner & Operator of J.R.’s Lawn Service. He loved spending time outdoors and being with his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Mary Bell Ellis and brother, Richard Ellis.
