Shortly after graduation, she moved in with her Aunt Mable in Dallas and graduated the Secretarial course at Rutherford-Metropolitan School of Business in 1954. After graduating she began working for the Bell telephone company.
Glenda then married her love, Earl V. Henderson, in 1959 and they had two boys: Michael Joey Henderson and Earl Jay Henderson. She had many hobbies in which she enjoyed including: tennis, golf, skiing, ballroom dancing, trail riding, bird watching, and being an all around rock for her family. She was also a talented artist, poet, and photographer and used these skills to become one with nature and God. Glenda truly lived life to the fullest and spread her love and wisdom to all who would listen. She had a true caregivers heart and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
