Judith (Judy) Ann Chandler Warns was born September 5, 1932 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to parents Paul Alexander and Arlene (Wymer) Chandler. She went to be with her Lord January 21, 2019 in Paris, Texas at the age of 86.

Judy moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she spent her growing up years. She received her Associates degree in Home Economics at Stephens College. After graduation, Judy married her childhood sweetheart, Bob on June 25, 1952. They welcomed their first-born child, Sharon, 1953 and Kim in 1956. Judy and Bob enjoyed the Army military life for 20 years; making many friends and memories along the way. After the military, Judy enjoyed working with her husband in their Antique business, Dyna Strip. They were able to continue traveling abroad and across the U.S. looking for antiques for their business and home.

Judy enjoyed her family, raising her girls and was passionate about the Lord and spreading the salvation message. Judy and Bob, side by side, were deeply involved in their church, Chase Oaks. They were involved in mission work, Bible studies, volunteer work, serving others, Mini Church group and much more. Judy made lifelong friends in her Mini Church; they became an addition to her family.

Her family and friends will remember her as a gentle and loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who prayed daily, loved God, willing to lend a helping hand and always had a smile on her face. Her husband Bob would always say, "Judy, you look like a million bucks!" and she surely did!

Sharon and Kim send their sincere appreciation to her other family members and Mini Church for the many visits, calls and cards.

Judy is survived by her daughters Sharon Ashmore of Paris, Texas and Kim Watters of Lufkin, Texas; grandchildren Tyler Watters and his wife Katie and their children, Holly and Evan of Pensacola, Florida; Kevin Ashmore and his wife Ann and their children William and Bennett of Paris, Texas; Bradley Ashmore and his wife Karley and their child Rebecca of Paris, Texas; Judy is survived by two sisters Barbara Chandler and her partner Pat of Sacramento, California and Sue Leissner and her husband Ray of Dallas, Texas; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert (Bob) G. Warns and her sister Carol Wollam and brother in law Ray Wollam.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. Following the visitation Judy will be laid to rest with her loving husband Bob at Dallas Ft Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
