Marjorie liked to travel, play cards and attend church, but her greatest gift and joy was to be involved with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and care for her family as the great homemaker that she was.
Surviving Marjorie are children: Sandra S. Dreesman, Sonny Burton, Brenda Kay Zimmerman (Nile), Joanne Johnson, Marge Burton and Tammy Mae Moore. She was richly blessed with 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren with many nieces and nephews. Marjorie loved her dogs Max and Rufus .
Preceding her in death was husband: Herbert in 2001, daughter: Judy Northcutt, brother: Charles Thornburg, and granddaughter: Janet Dreesman.
Funeral services are to be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday January 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Adrian Leavell officiating. Visitation shall occur from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
