Teresa “Tessa” Webb passed away on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, TX after fighting her short illness valiantly with grace and dignity. She was 67.
Tessa was born “in the valley” at Donna, TX on March 3rd, 1951 to Corinne and Walter Sam Williams. Both of her parents were educators. Her mother, “Co”, was a math teacher in secondary grades and her father, Sam, taught physical education as well as being a successful coach in both junior high and high school, culminating in becoming an award winning basketball coach at Pan American University for many years.
Tessa grew up in a sports atmosphere and was an accomplished diver and swimmer at an early age as well as competing on the tennis court. She loved being in the water, whether swimming pools or her beloved beaches of South Padre Island where, according to her wishes, her ashes will eventually join that of her mother’s to the sand and surf that she loved so much.
Tessa is survived by her devoted loving husband and soul mate Larry, of Colorado City, TX. Her son, Ian Heath and wife Allison of Odessa, TX and their four children: Britton, Ian, Ambry and Addison. Daughter Stacey Doss and husband Robert of Midlothian, TX and their four children: Sara, Rachel, Jordan and Bethany. Son, Casey Webb of Oxford, England and his three children: Anthony, Amy and Isabella. She also leaves a brother David Williams of McAllen, TX and four great-grandchildren as well as a multitude of loyal and loving friends and family.
Tessa will be greatly missed by so many. She was optimistic in all things and every life she touched has been better for knowing her.
