Willard Wayne (Will) Bryant was born November 7, 1933 in Lenorah, Texas and went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Will was the first child of William (Doc) and Evelyn Mauldin Bryant. During his childhood his parents moved the family several times. Will graduated from high school and enrolled in the Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene with the intention of becoming a Baptist pastor. Those plans were put on hold when he joined the Air Force. He had a distinguished career with the Air Force and retired as Major in 1974.

Will was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He returned to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in July 1970 and retired as a Major in June 1974. Will’s military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Metal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Air Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He is survived by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Doc and Evelyn and stepson John (Bucky) Hickman.
