Mary Elizabeth Hamby, age 61, of Granite Falls, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. She was born February 20, 1957 to the late Clyde Richard Killian and Margie Hefner. She worked at RPM Wood Finishes and was a member of Baton Baptist Church where she loved her church family. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Hamby of the home, a son Randal Lee Bolick of Catawba, a daughter Magan Hamby of Granite Falls, a step-daughter Stephanie Kirby of Granite Falls; a brother Kenny Davis of Alexander County; three grandchildren Emily Bolick, Maggie Kirby and Joseph Kirby.
