Joseph C. Diaz, born October 22, 1933, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Mr. Diaz is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Alma C. Diaz; daughter Virginia M. Diaz; son Joseph A. Diaz (Virginia); grandsons Dominic J. Diaz, Jacob A. Diaz, and Stephen N. Diaz; sister Margaret D. Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herculano and Maria Diaz; two sisters, and four brothers. He had a deep and sincere love for his family, and a smile for everyone that will be remembered fondly and greatly missed. Mr. Diaz’s family would like to acknowledge the caring and compassionate staff of Complete Care Home Health and Hospice, who cared for him until his passing. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Mission Park Funeral Chapel Cherry Ridge, followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday morning, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mission Park Cemetery - Dominion.
