Floyd Morgan Ray, 67, died Saturday January 12, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. A native of Alger, OH, he was the son of the late Harry Morgan Ray and Mary Ellen Turner-Ray. He was a retired mechanic, truck builder, automobile proctologist and enjoyed truck pulling and drag racing. He is survived by four children, Jeff (Dianna) Ray, Kimberly Ray, Justin Ray and Carrie Ray: nine grandchildren, Jordan (Emily) Ray, Morgan (Jesus) Parra Moncada, Aaron (Ashley) Ray, Christopher Ray, Emily Ray, Sophie Caudill, Phillip Cockrell, Allison Cockrell and Carol Ann Cockrell; two step grandchildren, Jalen and Chandler Thomas; give great grandchildren, Ayden Parra Moncada, Dakota Parra Moncada, Liam Ray, Rylie Ray and Haven Fahner; three brothers, Ben Ray, Matthew (Tina) Ray and Mack Ray; two sisters, Susie (Jeff) Simon and Minnie Moore and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Ray, James Ray, Adam Ray and one sister, Linda Ray. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
