She was born on March 7, 1958 in Harrison, the daughter of T. C. “Jack” Kirksey and Evelyn Jean Hays Kirksey. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Karen graduated from Amity High School in 1976. She enjoyed playing basketball and fishing on the family farm. For over 25 years, she worked as a certified nursing assistant and enjoyed taking care of people.
She is survived by her father, T. C. “Jack” Kirksey of Amity; two sons, Mike Sirmon of Amity and Zach Davis of Fort Smith; three daughters, Katrina Grider of Amity, Amanda Brown and Ruby Davis, both of Fort Smith; and seventeen grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 3:30 PM, Friday, in the Jones Cemetery at Amity with Bro. John McAnally officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Sirmon, David Grider, Mark Scrivner, Brian Kirksey, Curt Hays and Charles Ducote.
