Robbie loved family and family gatherings. His children remember the special trip to the beach in Galveston, TX as well as the annual Fourth of July celebrations. Robbie loved fireworks and could always be counted on to do a huge display for all to enjoy. When it snowed, Robbie would spend hours pulling his children on an old car hoods tied to the back of his truck. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed not only fishing but hunting as well. His daughter said that her dad would choose being outside rather than sitting in the house any day of the week. No list of Robbie’s likes would be complete without mentioning “Mudding”, an activity that brought him hours of enjoyment. When grandchildren came along “PaPa” was the name Robbie preferred to hear. He loved entertaining the grands just like he had his own children.
This father, PaPa, brother, uncle, and friend will be missed by all whose life he touched. Robbie is survived by his children, Shaunna Ellis and Victor, Kassy Webster and Bo, and Keisha Ellis, grandchildren, Hannah Wright, Amyah Banis, Austin Tyler Gauge Webster, Madison Rain Webster, and Kaylee Dean McElroy, mother Bonnie Campbell, brother, Travis Morris and wife Angie, and sister, Debra Cunningham. Robbie was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Kenneth Ellis, son, Trevor Ellis, and brother, Don Ellis.
