Lena Walker, born November 2, 1928 in Laindon Essex England, passed away in her Layton residence on November 8, 2018. Lena celebrated her 90th birthday on November 2, 2018 surrounded by her adoring family and friends.
Lena is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Walker, two children, Nicolette (Walker) Swinney and Sean Walker, along with his wife, Kimberly, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Lena is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, and grandson, Christopher.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.
Lena’s ashes will be interred in New Jersey in early 2019. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In lieu of tears Lena requests you share love, laughter and hugs.
