Paula was born November 5, 1946, in Excelsior Springs, MO. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth Creason and the late Ruby (Seely) Holman. She married Curtis Keen on February 15, 1976 at Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Together with her husband, Paula saw her family grow with three children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Paula worked as a hairdresser. In her spare time, Paula enjoyed doing crafts: she did needlepoint, and painting. She also made wedding cakes. She was famous for her peanut butter fudge.
She is survived by her husband: Curtis Keen; two daughters: Robin (Jon) Tanner of Montrose, MO and Stacy (Stephen) Hodgson of Excelsior Springs, MO; one son: Marcus (Dixie) Shelton of Orrick, MO; eight grandchildren: Alexandria, Daniel, Jeanette, Ashley, Dystenie, Samantha, Kira and Ronan; three great-grandchildren: Lydia, Mathew, and Lance; three sisters: Linda Markley, Debbie West, and Tammy Reeves; and one brother: Rick Holman.
Paula was preceded in death by her father: Kenneth Creason; mother: Ruby Holman; and step-father: Jim Holman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
