Linda Louvene Fultz Stidham, 71, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 22, 2019) at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Exeter, Va. and lived most of her life in Big Stone Gap. She loved working with arts and crafts, traveling, working word games, and most importantly, loving and caring for her children and their families. She was a Christian, and her faith and encouragement to others was priceless.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Stidham; a great granddaughter, Zoe Lin Durham; and her parents, Robert Leo and Elsie Marie (Fugate) Fultz, Sr.

Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Eugene Stidham; her children, Janice Stidham (Ken Adams) of Norton, Va., Daniel Stidham of Big Stone Gap, Chris Stidham (Donna) of Heber Springs, Ark., and Shannon Stidham (Mary) of Duffield, Va.; a loving daughter-in-law, Kim Stidham of Olinger, Va.; 15 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; her siblings, Kathy Franklin, Rita Jane Fultz, Robert Leo Fultz, Jr. (Cheryl), Alice Bieda (Stan) and Tammy Skeen (Larry), all of Kingsport, Tn., and Dennis James Fultz (Tammy Liley) of Gray, Tn.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday at Gilliam Funeral Home (618 Wood Ave, W.) in Big Stone Gap. The funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday with her brother, Pastor Robert Leo Fultz, Jr. officiating.

Graveside committal will be held 12 noon Friday in the Riverview Cemetery in East Stone Gap, Va. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 11:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
