Jimmy Wade Lingerfelt, 61, of Vale passed away at Catawba County Hospice after a period of declining health on January 22, 2019. Born January 21, 1958 to the late Hubert Wade Lingerfelt and Nancy Allen Rikard. He was better known as Honey, Pop-Pop, and Daddy! He loved his family more than life itself! He could always be found doing small engine repairs in his shop or fixing anything that was broken around the house! He loved spending time with his 6 grand babies and spoiling them just came naturally to him.
He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 44 years Connie Lingerfelt of the home; 2 daughters Mindy and husband Bobby of Connelly Springs and their 3 children Parker, Paisley, and Phinleigh Godfrey; Erin Fields and her three children Noah, Samuel, and Dalilah Fields of Hickory; a (little) brother Tommy Lingerfelt and wife Sarah of Lincolnton and their children Michael, Jessica, April and Keisha; and a father and mother-in-law Jack and Edna Speagle of Vale who always treated him like one of their own.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm Friday, January 25th, 2019 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
