Sharon Earlene (Majors) Martinez left this earth peacefully on April 6, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 75 years old. Born in Martinez, California on November 17, 1942. She was daughter of the late Earl Majors and Beulah (Moorhead) Cancilla. She was survived by her husband John Martinez Sr., her brother Chuck (Laurie) Majors, her two daughters, Cindy Hartz (Todd) Ferry and Michele Hartz (Gary) Aiello, her two sons, John (Crystal) Martinez, Jr. and Chris (Katie) Martinez. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael (Eileen) Majors and her son Marc Martinez. She had ten grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Sharon was a graduate of Clayton Valley High School, 1960. She worked for the Contra Costa County in the medical records department. She will always be remembered for her generosity and fun personality. She enjoyed gardening, and always had a beautifully decorated and welcoming home.
