Nancy Ruth Kendrick Self age 83 of Lenoir City passed away Sunday evening, January 20, 2019. Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church Lenoir City and the Pastor Ron Jordan’s Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana. Nancy was a ray of sunshine and touched everyone that she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Kendrick and Addie Parham Kendrick.
Survived by her husband of 63 years,Gary Self; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stephen Macdonald; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Michael Self and Kay Self; grandchildren: Mason and Kyle Gaines, and great grandson, Cooper Gaines, Kristin Macdonald, Luke Macdonald, Kristopher and Kendra Self; sister, Frances Hosmer; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22nd at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officating. A private interment will be held in the Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City.
