Geneva, 79 of Strathmore was born in Short Oklahoma on June 1, 1939 to Rena Melvin (Bud) Goff and Laura Belle Goff (Kunkle) she passed away on January 18, 2019.
Geneva worked in farm labor for many years until she started working as a cook for Delta Convalescent Hospital which she medically retired from after 20 years.
She enjoyed her time at Delta Convalescent where her strong work ethic was appreciated and where she made many friends.
Geneva had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed telling a good joke, she loved spending time with family and reading which she could read a book a day.
She looked forward to Sunday worship service at Visalia New Life Church.
Geneva is survived by her children, daughters Rebecca Bailey (Nashville TN), Reba Ortiz (Visalia CA), Regina McKinney (Porterville CA), two sons, Jimmy and Matt Walker (Strathmore).
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and her only living sibling her brother Billy Goff (Pinole CA).
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Walker, eight of her nine siblings and baby boy Waymen who died at birth.
There will be a viewing on Friday Jan 25, 2019 from 9-11 AM at Salsar and Dillard and graveside service will proceed at 12:00 PM at Visalia Cemetery.
