Ralph G. Nelson, born Feb. 21, 1928 in Forsyth, passed away at the Butterfly Home Assisted Living facility in Billings on Jan. 20, 2019. A good long life lived first in Forsyth, then Glendive, 30 years in Lewistown, then finally in Billings. Ralph was well respected as a cowboy, ranch manager, meat inspector, horseshoe'er, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie, of nearly 60 years in 2013.
He is survived by his sons: Tim of Eagle River, Alaska and Craig (Ann) of Lawtey, Florida; his daughters: Mary Louise Nelson and Tracy (Chuck) Schott of Billings; grandchildren: Deshay Nelson, Shawna Nelson, Dallas Nelson, and Kelly Smith; and three great-grandchildren.
He is fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Services will be held at a later date. Heights Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangement
