Funeral services for Mrs. Regina Cook, 76, of Hattiesburg, MS will be on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Henry McElroy will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Cook, passed from this life on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born on September 28, 1942 to Samuel Curtis Cook and Ms. Novle Merritt Cook.

Mrs. Cook spent her working life as a professional cake decorator working in a number of retail stores.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Samuel Curtis Cook and Novle Merritt Cook; daughter, Patricia Diane Polk and granddaughter, Jessica Polk.

Survivors are son, Mark King and wife Rose of Columbia, MS; sister, Carmel Nations and husband Bobby of McComb, MS; brothers, Virgil Cook of Brookhaven and Wincey Cook of Roxie; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bobby Nations Jr., Andrew Nations, Bobby Nations III, Luke Nations, Jacob Nations and Clay Mayeux.
