Robert Franklin Woolley, 77, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Bob was born on April 17, 1941 in Findlay to the late Robert B. and Helen (Gibson) Woolley. On September 23, 1960 he married Patsy Pressnell and she survives. Bob is survived by a son, Robert Woolley and a daughter, Joy (Edward) Kummerer, both of Findlay; half-brother Danny Gibson of Van Buren; half-sisters: Beverly Armstrong of Findlay, Andrea Wonders Compton of Lima, and Hildegard Krampfe of Munich, Germany; and grandchildren: Nicholas Woolley, Zoie Zirger, Alexander Woolley, and Tot Zirger. Bob was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Woolley. Robert was a 1959 graduate of Findlay High School. Bob worked as a self-employed truck driver and was known at truck stops as Conway. He was a member of the NRA and loved old western movies. Bob enjoyed his meetings at the Fern Cafe with his classmates, loved to fish, and enjoyed watching ice hockey and other spots, including NASCAR. His favorite drivers were Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch. Robert loved to feed and watch birds and squirrels. Bob especially loved his family most of all. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay with Pastor Tom Mellott officating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to Findlay Hockey Association.
