Rita Rozann Lewis, 86, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Good Samaritan, Geneseo.
Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline with visitation one hour prior to service. Private burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Rozann was born August 2, 1932 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna Louise (Schmid) Peters. She married Donald E. Lewis on September 24, 1960 in Keokuk, Iowa. He preceded in death on March 1999.
Rozann graduated from Keokuk High School in 1950. She worked at Hoerner Boxes, Inc., Keokuk in the general office of the IBM Department as a switchboard operator. She was a former member of St. Pius X Church, Rock Island, Junior Women’s Club, and volunteer at Franciscan Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, seek and find puzzles, reading and decorating her home for every holiday.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelley Clark and son-in-law, Doug Clark, Geneseo; rela-friends, Andy and Jean Sill, Moline, Greg and Ana Sill and family, Stoughton, WI and Grace Meinhardt and family, Fuquay-Varina, NC; close friend, Donna Spencer, Rock Island and cousin, Carm Fett, Mt. Pleasant, IA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Peters and nephew, Loren Peters.
