Betty Watts Hooper, age 96, of Brentwood, formerly of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Billy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin's Chapel Church Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Mrs. Hooper was born on November 28, 1922 in Coopertown, Tennessee to the late George and Maggie Horton Watts. She was a retired sorter from Washington Manufacturing and a member of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Shellie, Burton, Nard, Earnest, Quentin, Taylor, Billie, Otto, Hugo, Cecil, and Sylvanus Watts; and sisters, Clara Drake, Bessie Drake, and Mildred Overby.

She is survived by daughters, Jo Ann (Tommy) Miskell and Janice (Stan) Wisner; grandson, Andy (April) Wisner; and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Wisner, and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
