Dennis "Denny" Lee McDonald, age 71, of Indianola, Iowa, formerly of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his residence in Indianola.

Denny's wishes were to be cremated. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville, beginning at 2:00 P.M. Denny's family will be present to greet friends and relatives from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home. Military honors will be held, following services. A luncheon will take place at the American Legion in Knoxville, following military honors. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Those left to cherish Denny's memory include his wife, Colleen; children, Melissa (Kyle) Van Zante, and their children, Stephanie, Zach, Marissa, and Justin; Kenny (Jill) Agan, and their children, Olivia, Ella, and Sammy; Curt (Kelita) Agan, and their son, Daniel; and Wendi (Patrick) Reeves, and their children, Ty and Sophia; one brother, Steve (Donna) McDonald; and sister-in-law, Nancy McDonald.

Memorials may be given in Denny's memory to Unity Point Hospice, and the American Legion of your choice.
